A Ryanair plane that had taken off this Wednesday from Tenerife and was heading to Madrid had to be diverted to Lanzarote, due to a "possible epileptic seizure" of a passenger, according to air traffic controllers on their Twitter.

When the aircraft had been flying for just over 40 minutes, the crew became aware that one of the passengers had a medical problem and decided to make a 180-degree turn to go to the island.

The controllers have given "priority" to this maneuver, which has been tried to be shortened as much as possible, while coordinating medical attention to be assisted upon arrival on land. The device landed without problems at the César Manrique airport.
