Daily cases of Covid-19 in Lanzarote have registered an increase in the last day, with 15 positives added. In addition, active cases have also risen to 121, since in the last 24 hours only one discharge has been reported on the island.
The number of tests performed also increased in the past day, reaching 230, compared to 143 the previous day, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
Wednesday's data has caused the incidence to rise significantly on the island, standing at 52 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days. This is 7 points more than on Tuesday, when it was 44.9. At 14 days, the accumulated incidence is 86.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, compared to 80.2 the previous day.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,775 cases of coronavirus have already been diagnosed on the island, of which 4,606 have overcome the disease and 48 have died.
