Clouds and poor sea conditions for this weekend in Lanzarote

The Government of the Canary Islands has activated the pre-alert for coastal phenomena on the island this Saturday

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts cloudy skies and poor sea conditions in Lanzarote for this weekend. For this reason, the Government of the Canary Islands has activated the pre-alert for coastal phenomena with waves that can reach between 2.5 and up to four meters.

For Saturday, partly cloudy skies are expected, increasing to cloudy during the afternoon. As for temperatures, they will experience little change, with minimums of 12 degrees and maximums of 22. The wind will be from the northwest, initially light, increasing to moderate in the afternoon with intervals of strong in inland areas and not ruling out the occasional very strong gust, especially on the eastern slope of the island.

On Sunday, the weather will be similar. Partly cloudy skies in the first half of the day but giving way to a cloudy night. Temperatures will remain with hardly any changes, with minimums of 13 degrees and maximums of 21. The wind will blow moderately from the north.
