Lanzarote Airport is trying to return to normal after the incidents recorded during the weekend due to the passage of the Hermine storm. On Sunday, up to 56 flights had to be canceled on the island.

Since Monday morning, the aerodrome is already covering all planned operations, although several delays have been recorded in flights between islands, national and even international.

As for the archipelago as a whole, cancellations have continued to be recorded in the first hours of this day, adding more than 70 throughout the Canary Islands, in addition to two diversions. The most affected airports have been those of Tenerife North and Gran Canaria, although 11 flights have also been canceled in La Palma and 4 in El Hierro.

Since the storm began, Binter alone has canceled 48 flights in the islands. As reported by the company, from 13 hours this Monday it has already resumed operations on all the islands except La Palma.
