The two tourist mini-trains of Arrecife are now ready to offer service to visitors to the capital. This has been confirmed by the Councillor for Tourism of the Arrecife City Council, Rafael Juan González Robayna, who has visited the warehouses where they are located and has confirmed that "both trains are in perfect condition".
The mayor, who has verified the status of the work prior to the start-up of the trains, has also announced that "the date of the official presentation will be announced in the next few days and, therefore, the start of the service".
The operation of these two mini-trains, which will run through the tourist area of the capital, were put out to tender by the Arrecife City Council last summer. Finally, the contract was awarded to the company City Sightseeing España S.L, which will be responsible for its use for at least two years, with the possibility of obtaining an extension.
