To the rhythm of rap, the multitude of Lanzarote residents who attended the Mala Rodríguez concert at the dome of the Fairgrounds bounced this Thursday. It was eleven o'clock at night when the Gaditana by birth and Sevillian by adoption, jumped on stage with more force than ever. Fire with character on the island of volcanoes that lit a fuse in the attendees with songs from her third and latest album: "Malamarismo", although the songs that were most chanted were from her previous works such as "Lujo Ibérico" and "Alevosía". The rapper's impudence infected the atmosphere and made people dance during the short hour and a quarter that the concert lasted, including the encore that left those present satisfied.

The most international of Spanish rappers demonstrated the courage with which she has directed her career in the song that opened the concert. "I have a deal, mine for my bag?". She steps hard because it can almost be said that she is a veteran, considering that she started eight years ago with her maxi single "A jierro / Toma la traca". Arrecife listened attentively to "Malabarismo" in which the collaborations of Raimundo Amador, Julieta Venegas and Tego Calderón stand out.

From her previous works, "Yo marco el minuto", "La cocinera" and "Tengo un trato" were some of the songs from her album "Lujo Ibérico" that brought the public to their feet, with which she achieved her first gold record with more than 50,000 copies sold.

It is not the first time that La Mala has visited the Canary Islands, remember the concert she offered last June on the beach of Cotillo, at the FuerteMusica Festival on the island of Majorera. One more sign that on the islands, the "bad girl" is at ease.

The opening act Zona Cero Crew opened the evening of rhymes with the conejero hip hop. They demonstrated, for almost an hour, that they are still on the ball with their acid and transgressive lyrics that, like La Mala, moved the public.

"Cuban style"... with Orishas

After the "La Mala" concert, in less than 15 minutes the Biosphere terrace was filled with the Cuban son, rap and guaguancó keys of Orishas. The trio from Havana mobilized for more than two hours with their classics such as "Mística" or "A lo cubano" making a complete tour of their musical career.

They were presenting their latest album "Antidiótico", a compilation of their ten-year career. The sound quality was the negative point of the show although the dedication and passion of Ruzzo, Yotuel and Roldán on stage meant that the concert was a success.
