The election gala of the Queen of Carnival 2007 in Arrecife began with great color. An event awaited by all the people of Lanzarote, which this year, lavished magic, imagination and fun.

One by one, the candidates for Queen of Carnival took to the stage to show off the most imaginative and spectacular fantasies. They did it to the rhythm of music, while wearing their heavy costumes, hoping to win the Carnival mask, designed by Willy Díaz.

The winner was the young Anahí Camacho Martín who wore the fantasy "Alexandria, Land of the Pharaohs", designed by René Modisto, representing the company Horinsa. Melisa Álvarez Perera won the title of First Lady of Honor with "Weightlessness" and Davinia Hernández Perdomo with "Sensation".

The gala, in addition to the choreographies designed for the event, also included the performance of the young singer Soraya, contestant of the program Operación Triunfo. The singer offered a small recital to all the attendees who came to the Arrecife Fairgrounds.
