The Cabildo of Lanzarote announces the opening of the LZ-501 road, in the section that connects the towns of Conil and Tegoyo. The vice president and councilor of Public Works, Jacobo Medina, explains that this reopening is due to "the need for the residents of the island to be able to travel on this road after many months closed to traffic."
Likewise, the councilor clarifies that as soon as the construction work on the stone walls of the road is finished, the "complete paving of the entire road" will proceed. The other section of the LZ-501 road, the one between Conil and La Asomada, "will remain closed to traffic", allowing only residents and security and emergency services to transit.
