The Cabildo of Lanzarote presented this Wednesday the IV edition of the Festival of the Native Peoples of the World. This initiative promoted by the Federation of Migrants in Lanzarote (Fedemilanz) will take place on July 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., in the Plaza de Las Naciones, in Puerto del Carmen.

The presentation ceremony was attended by the vice president in office of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Marcos Bergaz, the president in office of the Federation of Migrants in Lanzarote, Daniel Hermógenes Vera, and the mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz.

Bergaz welcomed a new edition of this project on the Island, which aims once again to "promote cultural diversity and the inclusion of different cultures in society, giving voice to groups of different origins and contributing to enriching a place as multicultural as Lanzarote."

The IV Festival of the Native Peoples of the World will feature various activities, live music and dance performances, workshops, a parade of typical costumes, and a wide variety of gastronomy and crafts from other countries.
