Canal Gestión Lanzarote and the Lanzarote Water Consortium inform that the supply to the towns of Yaiza, Uga, La Degolladla, Puerto Calero, Mácher, Tías, Tegoyo, Haría, Punta Mujeres, Los Ancones and Máguez has been suspended until further notice.

"In this case, the inevitable interruptions are a consequence of the low reserve levels recorded in the storage tanks that serve these areas. It is hoped that the supply to all these towns can be regularized throughout the day depending on the recovery of the storage facilities, which will always depend on the demand for consumption and any incidents that may arise," the company explains.

On the other hand, Canal recalls "that pressure management maneuvers are continuing to optimize the available flows in the most critical areas, so it is likely that low pressure or force supplies may be detected in some areas."

Finally, Canal Gestión Lanzarote and the Water Consortium "regret the situation that the supply of Lanzarote and La Graciosa is suffering, showing the firm commitment to be working and putting all possible resources to channel solutions to the existing structural problems in the short to medium term, as far as possible."
