A 47-year-old woman was slightly injured after her car overturned on the LZ-1 on Sunday night.
The accident occurred around 11:45 p.m. at kilometer 23 of the aforementioned road. Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium went to the area and, upon arrival, found that it was a lateral rollover and that the driver was trapped inside.
The firefighters proceeded to stabilize the vehicle and remove the upholstery to access the interior and assess and provide first aid to the injured woman, and later, they lowered the roof to be able to extract her from the car.
Once outside, the driver was mobilized with a spinal board to the medicalized ambulance, which transferred her to the Molina Orosa Hospital. According to confirmations from 112, the affected woman presented mild multiple contusions. In addition to the Consortium firefighters and SUC paramedics, Local Police and Civil Guard also intervened.
