Two new boats from Morocco arrived on the coasts of Lanzarote in the last hours. The first of them at 10:00 p.m. on Monday night and a second, at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

The first boat arrived at Los Cocoteros beach (Teguise) and only six of its occupants have been located, including a woman and three minors, who were attended by the Civil Guard and the Red Cross.

The Civil Guard agents are currently carrying out search work to locate the rest of the immigrants, apparently all of Moroccan origin, who were traveling on the boat, whose total number is currently undetermined.

The second boat was detected by the SIVE radar at the height of the Murión Ravine and was immediately towed to the Puerto Naos dock, where the Red Cross attended a total of 28 people, including nine minors.
