Two Civil Guard officers who were off duty were injured, one of them seriously, in the early hours of Thursday to Friday, when a fight broke out in a bar in the Atlantic Center of Puerto del Carmen.
The events are still being investigated, and so far no arrests have been made, but apparently it all started with a fight involving three men who could be Moroccan and a girl, whose nationality has not been determined. For reasons that are still unknown, the civil guards were attacked with glasses and glass bottles.
One of the agents suffered serious injuries and had a major cut in one eye, so he had to be rushed to the Doctor Negrín in Gran Canaria. The other civil guard had minor injuries and was treated at the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital, although he has already been discharged.
Both the Civil Guard and the Local Police are investigating the events in order to arrest the participants in the fight. In addition, they are also investigating another incident that occurred the following day, in the same scenario. And it is that in the early hours of this Saturday, the same bar, has once again been the scene of another fight.
