The National Police have arrested in Arrecife two men of 19 years of age, without police records, as alleged perpetrators of a crime of robbery with violence, after beating and stealing the phone from a man in the capital.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning, and it was the employee of an establishment in the capital who observed how the two young men were beating and stealing the mobile phone from the man, so she called 091.
The victim, who had multiple bleeding wounds on his face and body, in addition to torn clothing, finally took refuge inside the store.
Several patrols of the National Police went to the place, locating them in Dr. Gregorio Chill y Naranjo street, proceeding to their arrest after a chase on foot. In addition, an agent was injured after being attacked by one of the detainees.
