The mother and son arrested in Argana last Tuesday in an operation against drug trafficking have been released with charges, as La Voz has been able to confirm. However, no official information has been provided in this regard, as the matter remains under summary secrecy.
These two detainees returned to their homes on Wednesday night. "They have hurt me a lot, both physically and psychologically," the detained woman told La Voz by telephone.
In addition to these two, another person, who was arrested in this same operation, was also released, according to this family of Colombian origin. "He is a friend who was also taken away," the woman said.
This police operation took place last Tuesday, when more than 40 agents from the National Police's Organised Crime Unit (Udyco) arrived in the Argana district of Arrecife to carry out several searches of homes and vehicles.
"We are going to hold a demonstration, because this is not fair. I am not going to leave it there because they have hurt us a lot," said the 50-year-old woman after being released.
