Agents of the National Police and the Local Police of Arrecife have arrested in the capital of Lanzarote a 38-year-old man, with a police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health.
The investigation began after the agents became aware of the possible sale of narcotic substances in a home in Arrecife. The police officers were able to verify how narcotic substances were allegedly distributed from the aforementioned home among the people who went there, with several minors being detected among the buyers.
With the mandatory judicial order, the agents carried out a search of the property, in which 416 grams of marijuana, 230 euros in cash, a precision scale, a knife, and a mobile phone were seized.
The police investigation concluded with the arrest of the resident of the property, a 38-year-old man, with a police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health.
After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority. The police intervention was carried out jointly by agents from the Arrecife National Police Station and the Arrecife Local Police.
