National Police agents in Arrecife have arrested R.D., 31 years old and a national of Guinea Bissau, with no police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking crime. The police agents detected the presence of a drug sales point in the Altavista neighborhood. He hid the drugs in his mouth and distributed them from a bar in the area, of which he was a customer.
The investigation began as a result of the detection by police officers of a drug sales point, frequented by an individual from Guinea Bissau, who was in charge of distributing the drugs at any time of the day from a bar in the Altavista area, in Arrecife. Police investigations determined that the alleged perpetrator of the events was selling narcotics in small doses and packaged in heat-sealed wrappers that he hid inside his mouth.
After being caught by police officers selling a dose of cocaine, the individual was identified and arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking crime. In the security check carried out, the amount of 100 euros was seized.
After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was brought before the competent Judicial Authority, who ordered his release with charges. The police intervention was carried out by agents from the Arrecife Police Station.
