The lifeless body of a 69-year-old man was found this Saturday on a dirt road in the municipality of Tías, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands.
Around half past three in the afternoon, a motorcyclist passing by the road gave notice to 112 and alerted of the presence of an unconscious man on the ground of the road.
Civil Guard officers have moved to the place and have confirmed that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest and have initiated basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers until the arrival of health resources.
Personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) have continued with advanced maneuvers without success, so they have only been able to confirm his death.
In this way, the Civil Guard has taken charge of the body until the judicial authority arrived and has instructed the corresponding procedures.
