The gusts of wind on Monday generated two incidents in Yaiza, which forced firefighters to intervene.
One of them was in the town of Yaiza, next to the church of Los Remedios, around 7:39 p.m. And the wind broke part of a tree, causing the branches to fall on the sidewalk and the road. The firefighters moved there, proceeded to remove the branches and left the pieces in a garden.
Twenty minutes after the incident in Yaiza, at 7:59 p.m., the firefighters also had to act in Playa Blanca due to the risk of a palm tree falling on Papagayo Avenue. Once they arrived at the place, with the help of the aerial ladder they removed the top of the palm tree.

According to Aemet, gusts of up to 49 kilometers per hour were reached at the Yaiza station throughout the afternoon of this Monday.
