The Provincial Court of Las Palmas will judge Carlos Javier Rosales this Wednesday in Arrecife for an alleged crime of attempted homicide. The events occurred in February 2010 and the accused has been in provisional prison since then, as he was arrested on the same day of the aggression.
According to the Public Prosecutor, Carlos Javier Rosales stuck a sharp object in the chest, at the height of the heart, to an acquaintance who was claiming a debt of 12 euros for a drug issue. The events occurred in the area of the Four Corners of Arrecife.
The victim took 49 days to recover from the injuries and the surgery he underwent, and the Prosecutor's Office requests eight years in prison for a crime of attempted homicide.

In addition, among the trials that the Provincial Court will hold in Arrecife on Wednesday, there is also another hearing for a crime of injuries. The accused, Abderrahmane Adama, is charged with allegedly hitting two foreign citizens in the Hawaian Bar in Puerto del Carmen. The Prosecutor's Office is asking for five years in prison.
