The Civil Guard intercepted on Monday night a boat with twenty immigrants on board, five of whom declared themselves to be minors.

The occupants were transferred at about 01.00 hours this Tuesday to Puerto Naos, where they were attended by the Red Cross volunteers.

After being activated by the Cecoes, the NGO moved to the scene the Immediate Response Team in Emergency (ERIE) in the specialty of Humanitarian Aid to Immigrants to collaborate in the intervention of assistance to people arriving in boats. The seven Red Cross volunteers provided the first assistance and referred one of the immigrants to a health center "for a mild pathology".
