The abundant rains on Sunday left few incidents in different parts of the island, mainly floods and fires, which the firefighters were able to solve in a matter of hours.

The municipality of Yaiza was the most affected, with two floods, one in the garage of a house in Playa Blanca caused by the obstruction of the drainage well and another in the Hotel Elba, on Avenida del Faro Pechiguera. The Local Police also alerted about another manhole that was smoking and short-circuiting in Calle Grecia, although the firefighters referred the problem to Unelco, since at the time of their arrival it had already been extinguished.

In addition, several roads such as the LZ1 road near Tahíche also suffered the consequences of the rainfall, with a significant amount of water due to the rains, as well as the Playa Honda avenue and the Güime road, which was affected by stones on the road.

Finally, the firefighters had to act in the Cuatro Esquinas and Gómez Ulla streets, the usual flood points of Arrecife, although from the Security and Emergency Consortium they assure that these incidents were resolved quickly and did not pose a problem for the population, since they occurred in the early morning.

Finally, the Consortium reports another fire that took place on Avenida de Las Palmeras, in Costa Teguise, where Emergencies had to move to put out the fire of two tires under a bridge.
