Six immigrants of Maghreb origin were arrested this Sunday, November 20, after arriving in a small boat in the south of the island of Gran Canaria, the Civil Guard reported.

The boat in which the immigrants arrived was found stranded, early this morning, among the rocks of Medio Almud beach, on the coast of the municipality of Mogán.

After the discovery of the boat, the security forces began a search of the area in search of the immigrants who were supposedly on it and around 2:00 p.m. they arrested six Moroccan adult males, between 28 and 33 years old, in the Los Frailes ravine, near where they disembarked.

The boat in which they arrived was five meters long, a 15-horsepower engine and another spare one inside along with four gasoline canisters with a total of 200 liters of fuel.
