The animal protection society Sara denounces a new case of animal abuse. This time it happened in the municipality of Haría. As explained by the NGO, the Local Police of this town has contacted them to treat a dog that had been rescued. "According to the police report, a couple who were walking through the Volcán de la Corona in Yé heard some howls of genuine pain from some dog, they immediately followed the howls to come to the rescue of that poor animal that was desperately asking for it, when in the distance they could see two men breaking a stick over the head of a dog, they began to pick up rocks and hit him with them, to kill him as soon as possible," they point out. They continue explaining that "the couple while running towards the place, desperately shouted for them to stop once and for all and when the perpetrators of the abuse saw that they were approaching, they began to flee."
After being rescued by the couple, they hand it over to the agents of the Local Police who take it to Sara. "Unfortunately he is very serious, we fear that he will most likely not survive," they say from the NGO. "KING, this is how we have named him, since for us he is not simple garbage or a punching bag as many have treated him in his short life, since King is no more than a year and a half old, King is for us a KING, a king that we must help and take care of," they express from the institution. "After this first assessment, we can advance that King has strong blows to the head, possibly his skull is broken, in addition to having pulmonary edema."
Finally, the association asks for help to locate the aggressors. "They fled in a white van, Renault Express style, they could see that it was an old model with black tinted rear windows, and they left in the direction of Máguez on the LZ 210 road."
