A new boat has arrived at dawn on the coasts of Lanzarote. According to Cecoes, some residents of Ye gave notice when they saw several people in the town asking for water.
The Civil Guard immediately activated the search device in which the Local Police also participates and have located so far nine immigrants, all male, seven adults and two minors. Volunteers from the Red Cross have also traveled to the place and have assisted them and have confirmed that they are in good health, except for two who had a fever. All of them have been transferred to the Aula de la Naruraleza de Máguez and will be tested to see if they have coronavirus.
The Civil Guard agents continue to search the area since the immigrants have stated that there were about 26 people on the boat.
The Benemérita has found the boat stranded on the beach of Punta Prieta or Cocinitas.
