The Investigating Court number 4 of Arrecife ordered provisional prison for a man accused of committing an alleged sexual assault against a woman on the last day of the Costa Teguise Carnival.

In addition, another two possible involved are wanted, as reported by the Communication Office of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands to La Voz.

The events took place in the early hours of Saturday, February 2 to Sunday, February 3, when a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted during the celebration of the carnival festivities.

As this editorial staff advanced, the Civil Guard arrested the alleged "main author" of the crime of sexual assault last Monday. However, the case is still ongoing and is now in the hands of the Investigating Court number 4 of Arrecife.
