The Emergency Consortium had to intervene this Wednesday in two floods, one in a residential complex and another in Cash Diplo in Playa Blanca.

Specifically, firefighters had to remove about 84,000 liters of water from the engine room of a residential complex located on Europa Street in the town. Once alerted at about 10:00 in the morning by Civil Protection of Yaiza, the firefighters went to the place and found that it had been completely flooded due to a breakdown. Immediately, they cut off the electricity supply and connected two electric pumps. After an hour of pumping, they managed to transfer approximately 84,000 liters of water to a cistern and to the street.

In addition, at about 11:35 p.m. they had to go to the Cash Diplo industrial building in Playa Blanca, which suffered a flood.

Alerted by the Local Police of Yaiza, the firefighters went to the place to control the large amount of water that was coming out of the building due to a breakdown, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium. The troops entered the building and once the breakdown was located and the tank keys had been closed, the water leak was completely controlled.

In addition to the firefighters, the Local Police of Yaiza collaborated in this event.
