The Emergency Consortium had to act in two fires registered on Wednesday night.
One of them occurred in the stairwell of the cleaning staff of the Playa Dorada hotel in Playa Blanca. The fire affected a room cleaning cart and the entire stairwell between both floors. The hotel staff themselves extinguished it. The firefighters checked the affected area and ventilated it together with one of the rooms that was affected by the smoke. Agents of the Civil Guard, the Local Police and two ambulances from the SUC also went to the scene.
The other fire occurred on a plot of land next to the IES Agustín Espinosa in Arrecife. The fire affected a large amount of garbage accumulated in the plot of about 8 square meters. 500 liters of water were used for the extinction.
