Agents of the Local Police Corps of Yaiza and the Civil Protection Service participated on Tuesday afternoon in a relief service to the occupants of two vehicles that collided on the old road to Playa Blanca, in its accesses to the Montaña Roja Urbanization.
The services of the Yaiza City Council were activated after a call was received at 2:29 p.m. notifying the traffic accident in this area. Two vehicles collided and invaded the existing intersection in this place. One of the drivers was affected by
the great impact of the seat belt and was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the General Hospital of Lanzarote. The other occupants of both vehicles were unharmed.
In this traffic accident, in addition to the Yaiza troops and their fire department unit, Red Cross and the Civil Guard also intervened.
