A citizen, originally from Vigo, was arrested this Thursday, accused of an alleged involvement in a robbery in a house in Puerto del Carmen. The officers of the Local Police of Tías have arrested this man, who responds to the initials of A.P.R., 40 years old, when they suspected that he could be related to a theft that had occurred that same morning.
The events happened when police officers from Tías observed a vehicle, brand Volkwagen, that they suspected could be related to a robbery in a house in the coastal town of Puerto del Carmen. When the police officers stopped him to ask for identification, they observed that inside the car he was carrying several bags containing numerous objects, including mobile phones, gold jewelry and cameras.
Among these objects retained by the Police, the D.N.I. of the owner of the house where the robbery had occurred has been found. The belongings, which were recovered, amounted to an approximate value of 6,000 euros.
