The National Police of Arrecife has located Jessica del Carmen Rojas Ramírez, a 43-year-old Chilean woman whose disappearance was reported by her brother from Málaga on December 28, in perfect health. According to the National Police, the woman's location was possible "thanks to citizen collaboration."
The disappearance had been considered high risk by the National Police, who were working on different lines of investigation. In addition to searching one of the last known addresses in Arrecife, they were also monitoring plane or boat movements to obtain news of Jessica del Carmen.
Her brother, Miguel Ángel, and the SOS Desaparecidos Association had requested citizen collaboration to locate the woman. Miguel Ángel expressed his concern in La Voz de Lanzarote, after the complaint, indicating that he had lost track of her on "the 16th or 18th", the last time he spoke with her.
