Agents of the National Police have arrested F.R.F., 39 years old and with seven police records, as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking crime. The detainee distributed the narcotic substances from the establishment he ran in Arrecife, Supermercados María. 331 grams of hashish, 6 grams of cocaine, three boxes of anabolic steroids, 950 euros in cash, four precision scales and nine mobile phones were seized inside the premises. Part of the drug was hidden in candy boxes.

The investigation began when the presence of an individual who distributed narcotic substances from the supermarket he ran in Arrecife became known. Once the veracity of the facts was verified, an inspection of the premises was carried out.

The police officers proceeded on July 28 to enter the supermarket, located on Paz Peraza street, where the owner was behind the counter, proceeding to search the establishment.

The officers seized several pieces of hashish with a total weight of 331 grams and three boxes of steroids, all hidden in candy boxes. Inside the local warehouse, 6 grams of cocaine and two knives with 25 and 18 centimeters of blade with traces of hashish were seized.

In addition, the agents found a box with 950 euros in cash, four precision scales and 9 mobile phones, concluding the police intervention with the arrest of the owner of the business as the alleged perpetrator of a drug trafficking crime.

After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, who ordered his release with charges. The operation has been carried out by agents assigned to the Arrecife Police Station.
