National Police agents have arrested a 43-year-old man in Arrecife, with no police record, as the alleged perpetrator of trespassing and assault. He entered a house occupied by a man and a woman and repeatedly beat them, even throwing the woman down the stairs of the house. The reason, according to one of the victims, was an alleged economic debt.
The events unfolded after a woman called the 091 telephone number reporting that a man had entered the house she had occupied with her partner, a 45-year-old man. Once inside, the individual inflicted numerous blows on them, even throwing the woman down the stairs of the house.
The agents who arrived at the scene requested the assistance of an ambulance, which initially attended to the woman and transferred her to the hospital with a diagnosis of multiple contusions. According to one of the victims, everything was due to an alleged economic debt contracted by the man and the woman when occupying the house in which they lived.
With the physical characteristics provided by the woman, the police officers located the alleged perpetrator of the events, who was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of trespassing and assault. The investigation remains open. After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
