A 34-year-old man has been arrested by the Civil Guard as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with violence that took place on the 13th in a supermarket in Costa Teguise.
According to reports from the Benemérita, the man threatened an employee of the establishment with a "large" knife and forced her to open the cash register, from which he took 334 euros.
After receiving the complaint and initiating the investigation, the agents gathered data on the identity of the possible perpetrator of the events, whom they located two days later in the vicinity of the store, where he was arrested.
The man has "numerous records for crimes against property" and is a resident of Costa Teguise.
After preparing the police report, he was handed over to the Investigating Court Number 1 of Arrecife, which was on duty.
