During the afternoon and evening of this Monday, Civil Guard patrols arrested another seven male immigrants of Maghreb origin (6 adults and 1 minor) who were located scattered around different places near the town of Arrieta and who belong to the boat that arrived on Sunday night at La Garita Beach, in Haría.

With these latest, there are currently a total of 23 immigrants arrested after the arrival of this new boat to the island. Although initially the Civil Guard maintained that there were about 20 immigrants traveling on the boat, on Tuesday morning the search efforts have begun again with the aim of locating any more occupants of this boat.
