An explosion on Malagueña street, in the Argana Alta neighborhood, left a 25-year-old young man with severe burns to his face, chest, and upper extremities. The incident occurred at 7:28 p.m. this Thursday, according to the Security and Emergency Consortium.
Cecoes received an alert about an explosion at number 90 Malagueña street. Upon arriving at the scene, emergency teams found the Local Police and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC). Fortunately, there was no fire or explosive atmosphere in the area.
A man suffered severe burns and was immediately attended to by the present paramedics. According to witnesses, the explosion occurred when applying polyurethane and heat inside a plastic ball approximately sixty centimeters in diameter. After stabilizing the injured man, he was transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital by the SUC ambulance. The emergency teams carried out a final check of the place and, finding no further risks, ended the service.
