A woman was injured on Thursday afternoon after colliding with a wall on the San Bartolomé road, near the Argana neighborhood of Arrecife. The incident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m., when the alert was received at the Emergency Coordination Center.

Firefighters went to the scene, as the driver had been trapped inside the car and had to be released. According to reports from the Consortium, the vehicle left the road, colliding head-on with a wall.

The health services were in charge of stabilizing the victim, who had to be fitted with a neck brace. In addition, she had pain in her hip and was transferred by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital.

For its part, the Local Police was in charge of directing traffic and carrying out the corresponding report, while the firefighters cleaned the road with sepiolite, due to an oil spill, and removed the remains of the wall that had invaded the road.
