A woman in her forties has been injured after being run over this Wednesday on Calle León y Castillo in Arrecife. The event took place around 08.45 hours. This woman has suffered only some erosions and has been transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital.
At first it was thought that the injured woman had been trapped under the car, so the Consortium firefighters were also alerted to help her. However, from the Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies they have confirmed to La Voz that finally, upon arrival, the firefighters have verified that the woman was outside and their intervention was not necessary.
Paramedics from the Canary Emergency Service have also traveled to the scene in an ambulance. They were in charge of attending to the injured woman at the scene and later transferring her to the hospital.
