A 60-year-old French man has been injured in the leg as a result of a vehicle overturning on the LZ-40 towards the municipality of Tías.
The accident occurred this Saturday around 9:35 p.m., according to CECOES. Both occupants were able to get out of the car on their own.
After the warning, CECOES immediately proceeded to activate the necessary emergency resources.
Next, the staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) assessed the two occupants of the vehicle. One of them escaped unharmed from the accident and the second had a leg injury and was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Personnel from the Civil Guard, the Emergency Consortium, a Basic Life Support ambulance and another medicalized ambulance also went to the scene.
