A 58-year-old man has died early this Monday afternoon in a hotel establishment in Puerto del Carmen, after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest, according to reports from the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The incident took place in an establishment located on La Graciosa street. The victim suffered a fainting spell after 4:00 p.m. The hotel staff began performing resuscitation maneuvers until the arrival of the emergency services.
The medical personnel of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) continued with the resuscitation maneuvers, but in an advanced manner, without any result, so they could only confirm his death. The Civil Guard prepared the appropriate reports.
