Civil Guard agents arrested on Sunday afternoon, in Puerto del Carmen, a man who was threatening several passersby with a knife.
The arrest occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m., after the Benemérita received several warnings from citizens, alerting that there was a man with a knife in the street, who was disturbing the peace and threatening people.
According to what they have confirmed from the Civil Guard, after the agents appeared in the area where the man was, of Moroccan nationality, he offered a "great resistance" to being arrested. Therefore, in addition to a crime of threats with a knife, he was arrested for another of resistance and disobedience to agents of the authority.
