The Firefighting Unit of the Yaiza Civil Protection extinguished the fire declared in the basement of the Papagayo shopping center in Playa Blanca on the morning of this Monday, August 26.
The incident occurred around 6:45 a.m. in a premises of a diving center that is based in said commercial area. There was material damage, still unquantified, but no injuries.
Firefighters from the Consortium, Local Police of Yaiza and Civil Guard also attended the emergency call.
