Agents of the Fiscal and Border Patrol (PAFIF) of the Civil Guard of Lanzarote have reported a food store in Arrecife that sold "without authorization, and without age restriction, pyrotechnic products of classes I, II and III." From the Benemérita they explain that this type of products present "a medium risk for users, and must be acquired by people over 18 years of age."

The PAFIF agents also seized 20 kilograms of pyrotechnic products, a total of 3,053 elements of different types and classes, reporting the owner of the establishment for an infraction of article 196.1 of the Pyrotechnic Articles Regulations, which punishes this type of acts with fines starting at 601 euros.

As the Civil Guard explains in a statement, "this article is a serious infraction, sanctioning the manufacture, storage, sale, distribution, acquisition or disposal, possession or use of regulated materials, failing to comply with the applicable regulations, lacking the documentation or the necessary authorizations granted by the Industry Area of the Government Sub-delegation, the body that will process the corresponding sanctioning file."
