The firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium extinguished this Monday a fire that took place in an abandoned house "used by squatters" on Calderón de la Barca street in Arrecife.
After being alerted by the Cecoes around 8:15 p.m., the firefighters went to the house, where the National Police were already present.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the focus of the fire was located at the entrance of the house and was extinguished with sprayed water, while checking if there were people on the first floor and roof, a search that was negative. Thus, after extinguishing the fire, the firefighters ended the service.
