A villa in Puerto Calero suffered a fire on Saturday afternoon. The causes are still unknown, although it is believed that it may have originated in one of the bedrooms of the house. Upon arriving at the scene, the emergency services found that the owners of the house were not in it.
The Civil Protection officers of the Yaiza City Council managed to enter the villa and extinguish the flames, a task that took them several hours, as they managed to control it in the early morning.
The fire, which may have started in one of the bedrooms of the house, affected the bathroom, the dressing room and the bedroom, which was completely burned.
This emergency body feared at all times that the flames would reach the single-family homes that were next to the affected building, although thanks to the work of its members this situation did not occur.
