Maritime Rescue has rescued a boat in the waters of Lanzarote this Wednesday morning, with 34 immigrants of Maghreb origin on board, including one minor.

Specifically, according to reports from 112, the boat was spotted north of Arrecife, after which Maritime Rescue went to its rescue.

The immigrants have been transferred to the commercial dock of Arrecife, where they have been attended by the SUC paramedics and the Red Cross. All occupants are "in good general condition" according to reports from the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security of the Government of the Canary Islands.
