The agents of the Civil Guard, who proceeded to impose the complaint, found these weapons, considered prohibited, while conducting an inspection of a business, a bazaar type, in the town of Playa Honda. Among them, there were twelve katanas, up to eight centimeters of blade, nine swords, seven daggers and five nunchucks. All of them were exposed for sale to the public, lacking authorization, thus violating the Citizen Protection Organic Law.
The owner of the establishment, a Chinese citizen, has been reported for the sale of these prohibited weapons. This person has been imposed a serious sanction, which carries an economic fine. The weapons, for their part, have been deposited in the dependencies of the Civil Guard.
