A 76-year-old woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a car this Thursday on the Vía Medular in Arrecife. The accident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. and the Arrecife Local Police themselves notified the Security and Emergency Coordinating Center 112.
Upon arriving at the scene, the staff of the Canary Emergency Service verified that the woman was suffering from serious multiple injuries, so she was immobilized and stabilized at the scene of the accident. Afterwards, she was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
In addition to a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance, agents of the Local Police also attended the scene of the accident, who were in charge of regulating traffic and carrying out the report.
