Nick West, a 60-year-old man who suffered an accident with his vehicle in Tías on May 9, has died after several weeks in Gran Canaria.
The events date back to 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, when West had an accident on the LZ-2 road in the municipality of Tías.
At the scene, paramedics from the Canary Islands Emergency Service assessed and assisted the affected person, who suffered different serious polytrauma.
West was transferred to Gran Canaria by helicopter. There, he died on May 31, while accompanied by his family.
"His family and friends will miss him very much. There will soon be a celebration of Nick and his life," his family reported on his Facebook account.
