A 49-year-old man was arrested by the National Police on Saturday night as the alleged perpetrator of an assault that occurred inside a building on Manolo Millares Street in Arrecife. As confirmed to La Voz from the police force, the victim presented "serious injuries."
Agents of the National Police provided first aid to the affected person, who was found "lying on the stairs, bleeding profusely, with a head wound and unconscious."
"We gave him first aid until the ambulance arrived, and then other police officers who were in the vicinity located the alleged perpetrator and, given that they were serious injuries, he was immediately arrested," they have transferred from the National Police.
Emerlan was the one who later attended to the victim, who was also a man, although his age is unknown, as he was undocumented at the time of the attack. The affected person, according to what they have indicated from the NGO, had a traumatic brain injury and also presented "several cuts."
